Policies and Procedures
Screening Employees:
All employees are carefully screened to ensure we are employing the highest quality personnel to our staffing team. We require the following:
- License verification through the Missouri Board of Nursing and the Missouri Division of Aging. Verification is performed on current employees every 6 months.
- RN/LPN/CNA/CMT/CMA proficiency test
- Minimum of 6 months experience.
- Two professional and technical skill references required.
- Drug screens required - Corporate Health Care (Results are provided the same day of collection)
- Criminal background check and checking the employee disqualification list (EDL) with Missouri Division of Aging.
- Mandatory orientation - Thorough review of universal precautions, back safety, tuberculosis precautions, and age specific care.
- Nursing skills checklist and profile completed to verify competency and experience in specialized areas.
- CPR, PPDs or a negative chest x-ray required.
